.indomitable will.
Indomitable Will is my first attempt at the medium of sculpture and one of the beginning sparks of my bunny crusade. Back when I was brainstorming for the piece, it was my first time doing the deep dive into the world of artists and what it meant to do art as a whole. To make it for yourself, to make it for loved ones, for a community, for your country. I had to choose my audience in that moment, and I had chosen. I wanted to prove not only to myself but to the world that I am just as capable an artist as anyone else. That even as a late bloomer, someone who may understand the colors of the world a little more differently, someone who is just as sensitive as can be can have an Indomitable Will.
Soon afterwards, I gained inspiration through a small fit of irony as well as the concept of the defiance of gravity. I decided that the sculpture would be that of a rabbit monk warrior holding the entirety of his body up by a single arm using his sword. No ordinary person or rabbit alone would be able to do such a thing of course, but through this warrior's hard work, dedication, and sacrifice was he able to achieve the unachievable.
